My bipolar is usually well managed with meds and I usually sleep quite well even though I’m an older woman. It is only when I’m manic that I don’t sleep. About 3 weeks ago I had depression. My psychiatrist changed my anti-psychotic meds and I switched over to mania and stopped sleeping properly.

Hope you enjoy your day of visit and shopping. I will walk up local shops later and go for another walk in a native gully up the road from my place. Can’t walk along beach because the algal bloom here in SA is affecting my local beach.

Hoping I’ll recover soon.

@GezzaP yes i heard about that algae bloom in sa that is awful 😮 so many animals are affected by it. i am on the central coast nsw. i do hope everything settles down for you soon so that your sleep goes back to normal. sorry to hear about your depression is an awful thing to cope with. enjoy your walk today in your native gully. it sounds lovely 🙂 .

I didn’t have depression for long. I prefer it to mania and not sleeping. When I’m stable I sleep for at least 8 hours. Think my psychiatrist might have to increase the dose of one of my meds to control mania. I speak to her next Tuesday afternoon.

I love they have different fundraiser ones 😊. If im paying for clothes I do like it when a portion of profits go to a good cause.

Hoping my 'highlight' for today goes well. Will be going to a dog high tea! Its a fundraiser. I dont know anyone else going. And I have no idea how it will be setup in terms of spacing - given i have a large dog lol. But im bringing my non-grumpy (female) dog, since she loves all people, all dogs and is not protective of her food (because they get some too!)

@AlwaysMyself didn’t go back to sleep. Hypomania can last a while, but I’m not too bad today. Psychiatrist will call me Tuesday afternoon maybe she’ll change my meds.

Will do some gardening today - just a little bit.

Already walked to the local shops to get a few things. Got leftovers for lunch. Will watch women’s AFL in the afternoon. Might go for another walk too.
