If you ever need a break from quilting

@GezzaP I've been to Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore as well as Canada and the US. I want to go back to the US to see a very good friend but like you say, I wouldn't go now. Even she has suggested I forego coming over. If I could I'd fly her over here as she's never been to Aus.

I'm hoping to take mum to Bali one last time, she's in her 80's now and we used to go as a mother/daughter bonding trip every couple of years. Haven't been anywhere in over 10 years as I chose to support my former best friend and her 2 kids both emotionally and financially. I could have gone on a world trip with the money I spent on her and considering the way she ended up treating me I often wish I had've!

Hopefully the old man will shuffle off soon and I can use my inheritance to buy a block of land somewhere nice. Not J'dup though. Too expensive!

People can really suck sometimes. I might go back to Mexico but via Argentina or via Japan and Canada. Both of those flights go over the poles. Would like to go to Costa Rica and Guatemala too haven’t been there.

@GezzaP I never had an interest in doing Europe like my family and friends, and still probably won't ever travel there. The only place I would go is Ireland as my cousin and his family live there so I'd love to see them. I promised my aunt I'd pay for her to come with me once I get my inheritance from my darling father (said with a touch of sarcasm).

I'd like to visit Costa Rica as well. I never got to Mexico. I had booked a day trip when I was in San Diego but I got sick so wasted a couple of days getting over a nasty sinus infection.

I'd like to got to Finland, Norway and Sweden, see the northern lights, then back to Canada and I'd also love to visit Antarctica and see the southern lights.

Is there a reason you prefer South America? I find it really interesting and it's not the usual countries most people tell me they'd like to travel to.
