@Oaktree @Shaz51 I commend you both for keeping your orchids alive! I am unable to for some reason.

When my cousin was a kid, he called an orchid "quorchid" so we have forever referred to them as quorchids.
Mum was a member of an orchid society for many years and had quite a few quorchids. They just don't like me apparently! I'm fine with that, I can make scones and my mum can't 🤣🤣🤣

@Shaz51 @Oaktree I've been really wanting to finally buy an orchid after seeing some gorgeous ones at the Hobart botanical gardens recently, but I'm completely intimidated by them. Do you have any tips for how to get such flourishing orchids?

i've recently been doing 'minute cryptic' (a type of cryptic crossword) and i was able to get the answer right without using hints this time!

My orchid flowered a couple of days ago too. ---- totally beautiful @Oaktree 😍
