My highlight would be being asked to appear in a video about the volunteers, that I am one of, at my local hospital. And starting on this forum.

I will hopefully be having our regular weekend dinner with my 2 besties.

My orchid flowered a couple of days ago too. There are about a dozen flower buds along the flower stem of varying sizes.

I am grateful for my Sane family, where I can be myself, I don't have to hear about Taylor Swift and I can admit that this week I have done very little despite having good intentions.

I am having a hazelnut latte and reading emails.

Hi @Shaz51 . There was a positive about staying at the respite house after the falling tree incident on Tuesday night which was the following day, I was in the kitchen area doing a diamond art painting and I saw a kookaburra outside the lounge room window watching me. The kookaburra was the only thing that kept me at the facility as it stayed there for a while and then came back yesterday as well. It’s like it gave me a reason to stay and get through the rest of the break as I’d have possibly never seen it if I had left to go home earlier. I took lots of photos of it and have since ordered a cross stitch kit, diamond art kit and a plush toy kookaburra as a new fascination of this bird. I’m actually scared of birds- bad episode with an emu when I was 4- but this kookaburra was special and got me through a rough period, hence the new fascination with them. Talk about the little things in life having the biggest impact in times of stress and anxiety and this kookaburra certainly made a huge impact on my respite stay!

Hi @Shaz51, your orchid is so pretty! Nice colours! It’s definitely happy living with you!

The positives are the turbulent couple of weeks have started to mallow out with loose ends being able to be tied which has been really nice!

I have got to watch Indi do a couple of really good tough searches and found the items which has been cool. She’s all kitted out when on a search, in her vest and matching collar, unfortunately the vest didn’t come in purple 🤣🤣 so have embraced the fluro with also a new collar 😊, I’ll attach a photo of her wearing her gear 🐶🐾

We are looking forward to our camping trip this weekend 😊
