Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I hope today has been a good day for you. I just get best of bone broth, but there are lots of other good brands.

I'm pretty exhausted and drained by this time of day. It's a fairly ordinary day. I'm so sick of this.

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer My day was fine until an hour ago when on of the tradies due to install roller shutters tomorrow rang to ask if other installer who came last Thursday (not yesterday) left shutters here which he didn’t. This at 5.30pm when they’re supposed to install the shutters at 8am. They better send 2 guys this time or put up a creche/platform. The windows are high up and one man cannot do on his own. This is the third attempt to install the shutters. I’m not impressed. In fact I’m angry.
Otherwise my day has been ok. Did a bit of gardening and cooking. Waited to get a message from painter about whether he would come back to finish job today or Monday after my chiro appt. He’s coming Monday at 11am so I’ll have to drive to appt. Yuck hate driving. People are horrid on the roads.

@creative_writer I’m tired by this time of day too, especially as I only slept 3 hours last night. Will need to set alarm as roller shutters due to be installed at 8am. I will be stressed tonight and probably won’t sleep well. Will wake up before alarm most likely.
Sorry to hear you are struggling.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I hope you are able to get enough sleep, stress definitely doesn’t help. It’s frustrating that tasks keep popping up.

Re: Feeling caged up

@creative_writer I’ll aim to be asleep around 9-9.30pm Have set alarm for 5.30am which is late for me.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP 5:30 is early. I struggle to sleep earlier in warmer months. I probably slept between 10 and 11 yesterday. Maybe closer to 11. In winter I’m asleep earlier.

@creative_writer I have a roller shutter blocks out light so I can sleep. 5.30 is late for me.

Re: Feeling caged up

Ok @creative_writer . Roller shutters finally installed. Know I won’t get rebate discount I asked for, due to them stuffing up so many times. Still unimpressed. They left some mess I had to tear up some cardboard and the path needs a sweep but I’m too tired today. Only slept 3 1/2 hours. Watching my team playing in AFL women now.

Hope your day is ok.
