Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

@creative_writer I’m allergic to penicilin too. I also have a rash on my chest that my GP can’t explain. She referred me to a dermatologist. I’ve been waiting about 6 years for an appt.

I got 6 hours sleep so that’s ok. Will try to snooze for an hour.

@GezzaP I hope you’ve been able to snooze for a bit. I hope today a better day for you 💖

Re: Feeling caged up

I snoozed for 20 minutes earlier @creative_writer so I feel

ok. Just walked to chemist and local shop. Then had to find some details for new solar system and battery.

Having a break before I prepare pizza and banana bread. Might do a bit of gardening if I can get in the mood. Nice day here today.

I hope you are okay today,

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP sounds like today has been productive for you. Banana bread and pizza sound good.

I’ve just been out, haven’t had too much time to think compared to the usual. I hope you are able to get more sleep

@creative_writer I didn’t get as far as making the banana bread. Oh well another day. Feeling lazy today.

Watered seeds and pots but couldn’t muster the energy to do anymore gardening.

Did make the pizza and washed up dishes. Cleaned stove top as well.

Reading a gardening magazine. Watching women’s AFL. My team plays a bit later.

Good to hear you’ve been out and are keeping occupied.

@GezzaP you’ve achieved a lot even if you didn’t make banana bread. I hope you enjoy the AFL.

Having a change in scenery can help, it won’t fix anything, but it’s better than being at home constantly.

Yes it’s nice to get out of the house @creative_writer . I got out yesterday for a couple of hours. My gardener/cleaner was here and we went to Bunnings, a different supermarket and the local pub for lunch.

Have been dozing off a bit today. Obviously needed more sleep even though shouldn’t really nap in the day time. Just nodded off couldn’t help it.

I’m hoping I can make banana bread early tomorrow and do a little bit of seed sowing as well. At least make a start on sowing some of my seeds.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I think getting out with someone can help. I feel like if I’m on my own I’m more likely to get lost in thoughts. Like going out with other people or even taking a walk with my lil sis is different to me being out alone. I get stuck in my head.

Dozing off sounds like a good sign. I hope you are able to get everything you want to do tomorrow. I think it’s great to have a plan.

I wandered round the garden @creative_writer . I’ve got a cactus that is about to flower it is spectacular. Received some flower seeds today. Will scatter them tomorrow if I feel energetic enough.
I feel as if the hypomania is easing now I have had a few reasonable nights sleep.

Back to reading my gardening magazine.

@GezzaP planting flowers is lovely. I love flowers, but they don’t always love me. Have you been gardening for long?
