Feeling caged up

Feeling caged up

The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular

Re: Feeling caged up

I slept for 4 1/2 hours but slept a lot during the day yesterday. Feel ok today. Did my gardening. My back wasn’t happy with the bending, but it’s good to move according to the chiro. Walked up the local shop again this morning too.

Getting hungry now but waiting for chicken stock to cool down so I can remove the bones and add the other ingredients to my soup.

Sitting down with heat pad on my back. Puss is on my lap.

Hope you are ok today.

@GezzaP I hope you are able to nap today. Movement can help, but can feel uncomfortable.

What kind of soup are you making.

I’m feel a bit ill, might have a viral infection.

Re: Feeling caged up

I made Aztec soup a Mexico City recipe. Chicken based. @creative_writer Yes my back hurts when I walk or bend, but not when I do my physio exercises. Been gardening this morning. Slowly getting rid of weeds my gardener missed. Had a ten minute nap this morning. A bit late to snooze anymore today.
Hope you are not getting sick fingers crossed.

@GezzaP sounds delicious. Pain is pain at the end of the day, movement can be hard.

I think it might be viral, just trying to push through it. My head has been heavy

Re: Feeling caged up

I’m having a drink then I’ll eat (soup again). After that I’ll do my physio exercises as those feel good. I’m going to the chiro tomorrow - I’ll walk to that and drop in a shopping mall to have a coffee and cake.

Tuesday I’ve got GP appt to try to get mental health care plan. Will have to drive to GP. Will eat early as she always runs really late. Then my psychiatrist is calling in the late afternoon when I’ll be tired and hungry. Wednesday I’m getting 2 quotes on solar battery and Thursday morning I’m going to Chinese acupuncture. Busy week coming up. Gardener/cleaner might come this week too. Was hoping to get some stories/novels in Spanish from friend too, but maybe not this week as she is visiting her daughter in Canberra.

I really hope you feel better. @creative_writer Hi @AuntGlow @rav3n @tyme @RiverSeal

@GezzaP I hope the mental health plan goes smoothly. Having psych sessions can make a huge difference in managing stress. Just got my ED plan, so will be getting more psych sessions. I have my appointment tomorrow afternoon.

The weather has been pretty unstable in Melbourne. It was warmer earlier but it’s cooler and wet outside now.

Re: Feeling caged up

I have 6 more psychologist appts. scheduled. Very expensive so hoping to get mental health care plan from GP. @creative_writer

Glad you think your ED plan might work.
It has been a nice sunny day here in Adelaide apart from a very light drizzle early this morning.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP psych appointments can get expensive, I don’t go without the rebate. There is already a gap fee even without the rebate.

ED recovery isn’t going to be easy, it has to be done

Re: Feeling caged up

I have to pay full fee for first appt with psychologist I believe unless they accept my plan for that appt. We will see. @creative_writer

Yes you need to work on your ED.

All I need is a few proper nights sleep. Then I’ll hopefully be fine. Got to sort this out with psychiatrist maybe I need to take more meds for a little while.

Re: Feeling caged up

@GezzaP I hope the psychiatrist is able to help you through medication adjustments. Right med balance can make a huge difference.
