The recent medication changes has calmed my brain down. I’m still feeling caged up, I know my psych is looking at more frequent therapy sessions if we can get more under ED plan. Once a month sessions aren’t enough. It just feels like the traumatic memories aren’t ending, I’ve been in therapy for years. It’s taking so long to heal. I just want to get to the point the body flashbacks aren’t so regular
@creative_writer Yes my body is burnt out and I’m exhausted. The headache is driving me crazy. Can’t take more tablets until 7pm. Putting tiger balm on my head. It offers a little relief. Will have to go back to chiro I think. And will explore Chinese acupuncture. All I want really is a decent night sleep.

Re: Feeling caged up
@GezzaP I slept okay last night, my meds worked, hopefully they work tonight. It’s been easier, but still a struggle.
Hope your headache is feeling more manageable now

Re: Feeling caged up
Hi @GezzaP@AuntGlow I hope you are both doing well today 💖. Feeling a bit achy, but that’s normal for me. I had a rheumatologist appointment yesterday, I have to find a physiotherapist that specialises in joint hypermobility and its other effects on the nervous system. I’ve mentioned I get chronic migraines, I also have chronic neck pain, also have tenderness and discomfort in other areas which is related to fibro. I get auras on a regular basis, thankfully mine are mild. I’m not always good at slowing down during the vision disturbance periods, I may be able to see adequately but probably need to rest up sooner rather than later

Re: Feeling caged up
Hi @creative_writer@AuntGlow i didn’t sleep well again so exhausted. A cleaner was supposed to come to do a quote today but didn’t show up so that was annoying. Just came back from chiro I walked despite the pain did a small shop too. Still in pain. At least my headache has eased, but back and neck still sore. Still hypomanic, but to exhausted to do anything after my walk. Had a pot of peppermint tea while I was out. Had a banana when I got home just now. Won’t do much for dinner. Maybe french fries not very healthy but tasty.

Hey @GezzaP - how was the chiro? Feeling a little lighter? ✨
Thank you for updating me @creative_writer, here with you, always. It sounds like your body needs lots of softness and soothing - could softening into action be your intention this week? So you can meet your body where it's at? 🫶
