I know it was a slip as I get what you are saying. We just have to be very mindful of the language we use to describe people. All good.
As for your newphew, I get it. He needs his mum. And he's at an age where he needs an adult around him all the time.
I really hope your sister is able to understand what she needs to do as his mother. It's not easy.

I would go to the ends of the earth for him @tyme but when its at the expense of my own family in front of me I’m so torn it’s put me in a really bad spot

Hey @ArraDreaming how you going man? Good to hear from you.
Sorry to hear about your sis and neph - but honestly good on you for being firm in your boundaries with her. It can be so painful to say no to family, especially with this kind of situation. But you're right that your kids deserve stability too, and time to process and settle and everything like that. And you do too!! Kudos.
You and the kids do halloween? Few houses in my street have put up decor and stuff...but that's the city haha

Nah we just an at home dress up celebration @Jynx my kids are too young for the scary stuff it just freaks them out and also we don’t really have any houses near us to walk to
