Re: Hi

i see what you mean, i'm not a fan of having appts on my day offs too. is there any way to reschedule these appts to a time after or before work instead so that way you can have a free friday? @ArraDreaming or would that be more stressful?

it's tough cos on one hand, it would be nice to have that free day and spend it with the kids but on the other, these appts are important and can help you be at your best for your kids too. how long does the appt usually take?

Re: Hi

@rav3n
Not really

there has been times recently I have rescheduled it to in the work day and then just gone and come back but not always that easy or simple and work won’t really like that every time I don’t think

Usually 45-1 hour.
Im usually out of the house for almost 2 if it’s far away or 1.5 if it’s close

doesn’t seem like much but it does take a big chunk out of my day where iccoild be doing other things

I see both sides

Re: Hi

yeah the travel time does add up hey @ArraDreaming. and i can see how it would be hard with work too, so makes sense that fridays are your best option. do they offer online/video or phone call sessions?

In response to: Re: Hi

Re: Hi

Hell no I am not doing that @rav3n the sewb session like what I got today is not bad cause we usually have a coffee

Re: Hi

haha so valid, i'd rather grab a coffee that talk on the phone too @ArraDreaming i was going to say if you did feel comfy with online calls, you could do some online and some f2f. but totally fair if it's not something you'd consider!

what's your plan for the rest of today?

Re: Hi

I get SO mad and frustrated with myself sometimes too @ArraDreaming. There can be so much shame when it comes to "not being able to do the stuff that everyone else seems to be able to do so easily".

All bodies and brains are gonna respond differently to different chemicals / substances / supplements etc, so I always recommend talking to a medical professional about it, to keep ourselves safe.

Interestingly, I'm very sensitive to things like caffeine for example. So while some people need a thousand coffees a day, I can only have one. I'm also more likely to have hectic caffeine withdrawal. But I don't know that many people who experience that stuff. Just shows how different everyone is.

Your response to CalmOwl made me smile too 😂

Just touching on the wind stuff; the wind makes me SO unsettled and nervous. Sensory overload FOR SURE 🌬

Re: Hi

@rav3n not too much after that
That was hard they were talking about referring me to some things like some group programs they can offer then close except for my psych stuff
I don’t like that

I have to pick my kid up from school in about 45 mins so aside from that not sure

@0ddsidian yeah I can’t handle it

Re: Hi

Super windy and wet here too @ArraDreaming @rav3n @0ddsidian @CalmOwl @rav3n @tyme

Wind has always been a massive trigger for me but I am dealing with it much better these days. I still have my moments but as long as I can throw myself into something, it is a little better.

@ArraDreaming I can do things inside but that is harder for you so I get the fruatration. I wanted to get some things done in the garage today but the wind is making that difficult because it is so noisy.
