Who can hold a plank at our age @GezzaP? I spoke to a coach a while ago that did oxygen breathwork for fitness and I mentioned my situation and he had zero tolerance. I had to laugh but I did get pointed in the right direction lol! Have been making serious moves ever since. Sometimes these slights can make us more aware of what we need to do. Anyway I used to do something called kaya kalpa (rejuvenation rites) but due to my chronic fatigue syndrome it was almost inconceivable to practice daily. Have been doing a specific type of juicing that gets rid of the virus that causes chronic fatigue syndrome am in a better space where this more actionablenow. Have been feeling my age a bit and got to do something. I'm turning 57 next year. Nearly 60.

I’m 63 on Friday @SmilingGecko . It made a big difference for me the last couple of years. i can’t walk as far or go as fast. Now I’m very slow and uphill is a struggle. This is smoking and age combined.
I can do physio exercises on the floor but can’t get up without using one hand on chair. I try to do sit ups but as ever struggle with those. Always have struggled to do sit-ups. Do press-ups on the wall instead of the floor.
It’s getting warm in here. Will have to take jumper off directly. Tried to watch something on iview but nodded oft. Will try to catch up now before lunch.
oh cfs must suck. I’m just tired because I only slept 6 hours.

@GezzaP I can only say do what you can. I lived with CFS for over 30 years which reduced my overall capacities. I did see Dr Mercola say getting off the floor quicker than others is a biomarker of longevity. I wondered about it recently and have decided to do something about it.
Today I did some resistance band training, some rejuvenation practices and will do some kaya kalpa later on today. Not getting much sleep isn't the best. Hopefully tonight you will have a better night. I think since I was 47 the years just flew past after that. That was 10 years ago. People just look at you as if you are old nowadays and the younger generation can be really ageist. I never thought that would happen to me but it has

@SmilingGecko Some days I can get off the floor without using a hand. Physio said I could do some lying down exercises on the bed but I try to do on floor so I have to get up.
I haven’t experienced ageism yet, but I don’t have much contact with young people. Used to teach them of course but they couldn’t show ageism in class and I was younger too although went grey early.
