Fair enough @TAB . Mine needed painting. At least bedrooms and living area ceilings. Walls in living area ok just need a wipe over. My helper says he’ll do that one day.

He has a house inspection Weds so cleaning up his place. He got a new foster dog yesterday. He comes back here on Thursday.

I know @TAB . I’ve got some I think. It’s f… freezing here with the place open. I’m shivering. Darn lots of ads on painter’s radio station. And it’s in a foreign language. Annoying. He asked me to move but now he’s following me.

I’ve got ducted air conditioning. Would turn heater on if place wasn’t open.

MurderMittens Mansion is a standard first home owner Perth special - 4 x 2 double brick and tile with low ceilings. No insulation, didn't think about it when Peter Garret was offering it free.

My bedroom has large windows with nowhere to put a split system. The only option would be ducted although I would prefer split. I have a portable aircon as well as the F16 (National brand aircon in the loungeroom) - so named as it sounds like an F16 taking off when it starts up. I can see the meter spinning even just looking at it.

Still, I have survived this long without aircon, I am sure I can cope until I can afford to get proper cooling.

Afternoon @Chasingsunsets . I’m freezing my t… off here. Painter has whole unit open and he’s playing a really irritating radio station. I can’t hear my radio station. Hope he won’t be too much longer. Will close up place, burn incense and put heater on. Apparently cut up onion in a bucket of water is good for getting rid of paint smell. So I’ll try that if I have to.
