Thanks, @SmilingGecko. You're right. We frame our perceptions in line with past experiences and observations. That's our reference point and we modify according to new, incoming information.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I don't have others to discuss things with, so my opinions and perceptions become embedded and accepted as fact. Finding I have erred on something I held fast to has been a serious shake-up.
Are you sure I'll recover my equilibrium?😟

Maybe just relax @Historylover If I've had something affect my equilibrium I will shake it out of my system. I do a lot of other energy practices but if I'm feeling thrown I'll shake. I had to get back into an old energy practice today and realised how unbalanced I had been energetically. I feel better within myself when I do them.

This must be why we, as human beings, hold tightly to our opinions, @SmilingGecko. It's just safer. And it must be the basis of a mental breakdown when we can no longer hold our opinion/s and observations as correct! (I felt like I was having one!!) It's very disconcerting to be shown to be wrong on something we had been so sure on. It rocks our world!
Thanks for the chat, @SmilingGecko, It has been re-balancing. I hope your day has been good. I'm going to do the floor now. It's overdue.

Thats ok @Historylover I hope you will be allright. These things can really upturn the applecart. I do get it. Being virgos we tend to think too much. Our mantra is: "I analyze" I've had to try and learn not to think so much. Even my acupuncturist has said the same thing. Must be something to do with esoteric healing. When thinking has been the only thing we've known from birth its hard to make the mind take a back seat!
