@TAB none of my cats are indoor only cats, my cat Loki tried to destroy every fly screen on my windows in attempt to escape so we knew it was a lost cause. Mal was the same.

What I do when I need to take any of them to the vet is to wait until they are inside and lock them in. Make sure you have a box where he can go to the toilet, because it's temporary you can use shredded newspaper. Once you have him you can then shove him in the carrier and Bob's your uncle.

I know it is difficult because you have to rely on Ginge turning up around the same time as his appointment. I'm worried about his eye (and I know you must be too) so the sooner the vet makes the appointment the better! I'm praying it's soon and moggie is inside!

Do you have any prescription anti anxiety medication, you know the real popular one?

Mum used to give our cat half a tab (the chemist actually gave mum a tablet over the counter - back in the 70s when addiction wasn't as rife!) when we drove to Geraldton from Perth. The cat was stoned for several hours but dang it stopped him for howling for the 5 hour drive!

yeah dogvals are a thing these days lol @ENKELI new box has a grid so wont be in own filth but doesnt looke comfy, needs yes, newspaper its used to already. I got it in there today pretty easily. it had half hearted go at opening door , put paw though holes. didnt seep that upset. will put his cardboard catbox he loves incage, just remove one side for access.

eye a lot better today, still yuk tho. thought could see pupil, so maybe not blind. they go grey eventually when effed one day Iwill get catnip lol
