Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@TAB you woke up in time to get a drink and think about dinner! Hope you feel better after your nap.

I've got a bit of a headache and am peeved that it's raining because I desperately want to attack one of my ferns and prune it. Plus my slack-assed brother didn't help me on the weekend, he chose to go on a play date with his mates instead!

How's Ginja going?

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@Bunniekins this is where I wish we could mention meds as I am curious to know which med you mean. I am on an anti depressant that is considered the absolute worst for withdrawal symptoms but I am highly allergic to the most popular one - I took half a tablet for 2 days and ended up in the ED with anaphylaxis. The first one I was prescribed which was really popular in the early 2000's and it did nothing for me. After that I was on another one that made me bloated and literally eat sugar out of the bowl. My GP had prescribed it as he was worried I was losing too much weight and I found out it was more suited to anorexic patients. I've been on another one for 20 years now and have accepted I probably will be for life so I'm not really worried about withdrawal lol. [edited by moderator]

Also, I feel silly for asking but what does Pdoc mean? I see people using it regularly and feel a bit dumb not knowing what it means

The antipsychotic was added to the mix about 8 years after my original diagnosis after I ended up in the psych ward for 2 weeks. That one is pretty commonly prescribed too. [edited by moderator]

I hope I haven't overstepped the boundaries with using initials, moderators please accept my sincere apologies if you have to edit my post.

I completely agree. The 2 psychs I have had dealings with were less than helpful. The first one I saw was when I was in hospital. He spent 5 minutes with me and pronounced me well enough to leave the hospital. He then wrote a script out for the very same medication I had taken in large quantities 2 weeks earlier (and was what put me in the psych ward.)

The second one was okay but I didn't feel connected to him. I can't afford a private one now and for the most part I haven't really needed to see one (thank God).

Thank you so much. You made me feel seen.

@Glisten you poor love. I understand how you must feel being let down by friends and having to face uncertainty again. We all love you on SANE and want to see you at your best xo
