I can always put it on my credit card @StuF. I hope its not expensive either. Got farmer dropping by tomorrow as well. It will be a busy day. Could have done without it but this electrician is a nice man so hes very congenial to deal with. I held onto his business card. He installed LED lights in my house last year I think. When you find a good tradie you stick with them.

I was going to @TAB but noticed a burning smell so electrician really has to come out to assess the situation. The burning smell has stopped. Don't know if it was a controlled burnoff in nearby national park or not but this house is old and its more than likely that re-wiring has to be done. But I know all about tripping but I'd be happier for him to come out and look into the situation

@SmilingGecko you don't live in Perth do you lol! I need an honest electrician to do some fixing in my home. (Even if you DID live in Perth I understand for anonymity you wouldn't be able to give details out)
It's hard to find decent tradies these days.
I am getting quotes to have a tree cut down and removed. Three of the quotes have been around $2000 but one guy quoted $4500. I mean REALLY?! Yeah sorry mate, you're not getting the job!
Maybe I should ask around on Farcebook...
