@TAB I have often used both those phrases. Up until ex friend nearly destroyed me with her actions I was a trusting person. Now I don't trust so easily offline. Easier to do in an anonymous setting because people aren't close enough to hurt you.
Oh and love the song too 😉

@PeppyPatti I only understand because I've been there. I saw you hadnt been well of late and noticed you have been a wee bit quiet on the forums. I wondered how you were travelling. I know you had something planned with your NDIS supervisor to get extra supports ❤️ I hope you are not in too much pain mentally and can find your footing again soon. MI is so cruel and unrelenting, it just consumes so much energy and leaves you wondering how you can find the ability to cope on a daily basis. I also think it can be atomising because onlookers dont understand MI's rawness and intensity. It throws routines into disarray and really wrecks havoc in your life by upending your foundations. You have to be strong Pepster and weather the storm the best way you can through whatever means possible. To show your weakened mind more patience and compassion for yourself and find the ambrosia you need to soothe the soul. This is my prescription Rx for you today ⚕️

At Indian takeaway yay me @SmilingGecko . Was very anxious driving here. Never been the same since I had an accident several years ago. Ordered lots of veggie dishes so more healthy. Indian place is on main road so have to cross that to get back to car parked in side street. Thanks for all your support today and yesterday. So sorry about your broken tile. Hope it doesn’t cost too much to fix.

@TAB thanks for that. I saw that Coles still stock sugar free choc as well as other things but they are so darned expensive.
I need to find some sugar free recipes for snacks. I told my GP that I liked to eat fruit instead of chocolate and lollies and he said fruit is just natures' junk food. It's hard because I crave sugar, especially at night.

@SmilingGecko if my new GP suggests I start monitoring I certainly will. And I am so thankful for your suggestions as it gives me more information and insight.
What sort of monitor do you have and what do you do if your levels are too high or low?
There is a drinking powder called Glucerna that can be used in recipes as well. It's about $45 for an 850g tin but if I use that instead of other sweet things it would maybe work out.
I use unsweetened almond milk in my coffee, weetbix and porridge now and sweeten the weetbix with honey not sugar.
