That's a pretty weird email from your credit union @GezzaP ...

I'm sure you're cautious but I'd be double checking somehow before doing anything

Just too much 'funny business' going on these days

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

sounds sus re Credit Union @GezzaP

account details for incoming payments, or to move funds into "safe" accounts controlled by criminals.

Credit Union SA +1
These scams often involve high-pressure tactics, claiming urgent action is needed to stop fraudulent activity, frequently targeting customers of institutions like Credit Union SA, People's Choice, and Community First.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Don’t think is a scam as credit union is changing name. Merged with another credit union. @TAB . I will ring them tomorrow to check and if genuine I will do what is being asked. There are so many scams it is scary. So hard to know what is real and what is not.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Yes I’m suspicious @StuF . Will call them tomorrow to check. My credit union merged with another one and has a new name. So could be valid. It’s so hard to know.

@GezzaP

Glad that you are going to call them. After a quick google, it seems similar to known scams. One thing mentioned is to call on a known legitimate number - not one in the email.

Sorry if coming across as condescending or anything!

@GezzaP

Our messages crossed!

Anyway, hope it all works out tomorrow 🙂

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Oh crossed messages ha ha @StuF . I could really do without this stress when I’m depressed and anxious. Makes it so hard to get on the phone. Trying to overcome anxiety to go get Indian takeaway. It is warm outside will have to take my jumper off when I go out.

@TAB I know I'm turning 57 this year. These young professionals can be really good but I can understand if it throws people off, but they do know their stuff. I'm also seeing younger MI advocates out there on the internet in youtube spaces and they make me realise how big the age bracket is! I hope you can get your physio stuff sorted. I wouldnt mind the convenience of takeaway. I used to enjoy it but cant anymore. Its not a problem really, dont get me wrong I've grown accustomed to it now! lol 🙃

@GezzaP no walking. Leaky tile on roof. It goes on. Oh well will get someone out next week I guess. Ha ha. I hope you can find some sweet spot in your afternoon today. Depression is such a silent struggle. You will be allright soon. The sun will rise again and you will be ok

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@SmilingGecko I have tried the Double D lollies but there isn't enough range as I don't like boiled lollies. My pharmacy has sugar free chocolate and lollies by a company called Sugarless Confectionary and I have bought them before but they are very expensive.

As I said previously, I don't need to test my glucose daily like you, which is quite normal. My diabetes is age related - about 25% of people over 45 get diabetes 2.

I am however, going to get my blood tested again and seek further information if I can find a GP. I hate Dr shopping but it's important I find one that has my best interests at hand.
