@PeppyPatti if you don't feel comfortable in a church then it's definitely time to leave. I can't do traditional Anglican or Catholic, too much idol worship for me.

The IGA in Merredin is great, prices are not much different to Perth prices. I knew there was a hospital there - I worked for a records management company and handled the WA Country Health Services (WACHS) patient files. It even has an ED.

Yes there is a community pool as well as a leisure centre, recreation area (Apex Park), movie theatre and a couple of pubs, including the Commercial Hotel. Every country town has a Commercial Hotel!

There is also the Roy Little Park which has a Vietnam Veterans Reflection Pond. I posted photos of it earlier.

The median price for a house is $350K with land sales around $60K

@ENKELI Absolutely I’ll be there. I would completely love to be there. My step mother won’t buy anything there but it will take us about a year to get organised we will join you there. Mr rocker will probably arrive in an oxygen clear plastic bed because he can’t quit smoking.
