@GezzaP that sounds like a good idea getting hot cross buns. I have organised what I am having this Easter. Its good to go to some effort. I dont know how baked fish would go down with DIY baked chips from sliced whole potatoes with the fat content. I will have to check. But would be nice Good Friday

I don’t like fish would have to have shell fish which is unfortunately more expensive @SmilingGecko . Perhaps I’ll treat myself if I can afford it, but I’ve got a big bill in that pay cycle. Just had a webcam call from my friend in the US. Kept forgetting to call her. Was nice to hear from her. She speaks better Spanish than me. She is helping with a short story club for retired Spanish speakers. She is having lots of fun with them which is good. Was nice to hear from her. She was about to go to bed was a bit late for her. We wrote a book together many years ago. She examined my PhD thesis. This improved my mood a bit but I’m definitely in a bit of a low. Missing my sister. Oh well I’ll het over it. What’s for lunch for you today?

Oh well might not have hot x buns this year @TAB . Just had a webcam call from my friend in the US. Was nice to hear from her. I kept forgetting to call her. She is running a short story club for retired Spanish speakers. Her Spanish is really good. She was about to get ready for bed. Was nice to hear from her. That brightened up my day a bit. Crows did better than I expected.

@GezzaP thats good you got to speak with a friend today. I know you are upset over your sister. It doesnt take much to bury the enmity and pick up a phone and call. I dont think she cares about her family. May be ruled by other things and not caring about people. At least you would not do what she does alienating people and mistreating them. I think I will always love my brother even if he does not care about me. But I realised I was wasting my time with him. They have hearts of stone GezzaP, besides if you did get back in contact when is she going to mistreat you again and maybe see you as expedient and to be used for something and not treated with someone with feelings?

@GezzaP lol, I love how you've added "got shoes on too"! I so relate to that!
We have a wet cool day here as well and I am wearing shoes instead of thongs as well 😄
