Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@GezzaP My ex-brother in law lost several fingers in a guillotine accident and ever since then he lost his confidence doing things like driving. I think after any major event like this it just does something to people so you are not alone. I dont particularly like going to those places with the disorienting lights, mirrors and noises I go in there with a set of things I need to do make a bee-line and get out again. Any plans for today? I'm about to go have a shower, walk then do lunch

Lol @TAB . I’m just looking for some English news on what is happening in Mexico with drug wars. My friend sent me something but they are speaking really fast in Spanish so it’s hard to follow all of it. Just had lunch still quite cool here got place open still.

No plans today @SmilingGecko . Just had lunch. My Argentine friend just sent me news coverage of a major operation against one of the drug cartels in Mexico. The news is in Spanish and very fast will look for something in english.

Find a website and use translate @GezzaP

German lecturers used to say don't try and understand words re videos, look for meaning.

Person in Germany couldn't believe I could understand say Brits, Americans and other versions of English. They can struggle with dialects and regional languages

Guess we are more exposed

Some really dangerous places in Mexico by looks. Pity, it's a beautiful country well geographically anyway

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@GezzaP Those Mexican drug cartels are pretty mean. I've seen USA with open borders letting in those people. It can be quite dangerous crossing the border - its a minefield. Dont know what Trump was doing about fixing the hole in the wall. People were sneaking in everywhere and under the Democrats were getting social security and other payments to settle in the USA. It bred a lot of social unrest. Its not a nice place to live now in the USA. Do you know much info about the Mexican border?

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

I have crossed the Mexico border three times no worries just a long queue getting into US from Mexico by car. @SmilingGecko . Non-US citizens have never been able to get social security that is a lie. ICE is detaining and killing innocent people. They even detained a british grandmother who wanted to come in as a tourist. I think we have to agree to disagree about the state of things in the US.

@GezzaP That paw paw ointment you suggested to me came in handy again today I think I've got either heat rash or allergy to my necklace. Put some on. Hopefully the redness comes down. It stopped me from getting an infection from a burn last time, amazing stuff!
