@TAB yeah we both know that's not gonna happen ba ha ha ha ha!
I was very good and had avocado on corn thins for lunch, cheating and having a mocha but I have had almost a litre of water.
It's possible that the chocolate may sit in the fridge until it needs to be thrown out. Maybe. I got it free as it was a damaged Easter bunny. Yes folks, it's Easter already! If I were an animal hater I'd give it to the dogs next door who bark all day and night despite being warned by the council. I rather like @Glistens' idea of muffins with sleepy time medications in them for both the neighbour and the dogs.

@TAB when are you able to get back into exercise with your physio after the procedure? Did the cardiologist give you any advice or parameters?
I know @ENKELI wanted to join the gym but possibly cant afford it. Walking is free though. It may not be whizzbang but you get in your quota of exercise. With gyms you have to get ready for gym, travel to gym, do gym then come home again. Walking - well you just hop outside the front door. Have heard people get motivated different ways to walk like listening to podcasts while walking or having a walking buddy. Maybe even having someone holding you to account for your daily walk

@SmilingGecko the walking idea has been previously suggested and I used to walk for over an hour a day when I had my dog.
The gym is in a council run active centre which is down the road from me so I can walk there and back.
For now the weather is too hot to walk. My bestie and I were going to start walking together as she is a 5 minute drive from me and we would take it in turns but that never worked out as she frequently has things on after work or is really tired.
Yes it's a bunch of excuses but the truth is that I am not motivated enough to go walking. Unless I had someone to walk with I would never stick with it. I bought a mini pedal exerciser and used it for a fortnight then gave up.
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, I had motivation to walk forever, play netball and squash but then Depression took me and with the medication it took away my desire to do so so many things. I used to write fiction for pleasure, now I can't pick up a pen and write one line. The same with exercise alas.
But I am not going to give up. I have a holiday planned for October and I want to be less than what I am at the moment if you get what I mean so I have dusted off the mini pedal machine and am telling myself to set aside 5 minutes to start with.
My council is evil - dangling their active centre down the road from me. And there's only 22 houses on my street so it's not like it's a long walk to get there!!
Thank you for your suggestions though gorgeous. I realise I sound all negative Nancy with your ideas but I truly appreciate your posts as I've said before. I adore you and how you support me 🫂💙

@ENKELI Thats ok I used to struggle exercising and lost lots of motivation to do things. It might come across as I paint a rosy picture of my goals but I am no different to anyone else I'm just concerned about you having diabetes. I guess you will work it out. Motivation and MI are not good companions. For many of us its impossible to regain that spark and zest for living again after a MI diagnosis. I was really pushed almost beyond my capacity with my diabetes exercise plan, in retrospect it was so incredibly gruelling I had no energy for anything else afterwards but I got where I wanted to go. But it was especially hard. Yes MI does take away motivation. I hope you can find away forwards with your diabetes. A mini pedal machine sounds like a good idea. Starting with smaller goals does not overwhelm the brain so much. Its something you can do step by step bit by bit. If you have a goal in mind by October to look your best then that is a good motivator!

@ENKELI that would be so distressing hearing dogs bark 24/7. More distressing when you love animals.
You logically understand that the dog is barking for a reason. A lack of exercise, boredom, human interaction.
There’s nothing better than when the neighbours dogs like you more, than they like their owner 😆

@ENKELI unbelievably selfish of your GP to retire.
I thought regardless of the type of diabetes, that it was kind of mandatory that people who get diagnosed with diabetes get educated to adapt their lifestyle to their new needs?
@Shaz51 you know all about this stuff. Did I dream this up?
