Re: Compassion
Something I've done to try and not make me think the world is black is give to the world. I want to do charity work but no way I can so I donate items to charity's. I find churches that have feeding programs and make pre made meals. Make school pacs for kids at last chance schools. I don't have to be in contact with people as I find them the worse but I'm giving love to the world.
I also read books on people who have changed the world for the best. It gives me courage there can be a change in the world.

Re: Compassion
Hi @esprit@Former-Member all,
There is still good people out there who are compassionate but it is getting rarer for sure. Being a society that is becoming faster, more pressured, more stressful, greedier, losing values, less trusting of each other - where disrespect and narcissism is on the rise - It definitely is rarer but out there.
I noticed the lack of compassion for those whom were struggling and in a dark place quite a few years ago. So I decided to give back to society where I could and fill that void. Being that which I saw was lacking in society - genuine compassion. Something acquired only through ones own suffering - it can't be learnt from a book.
Sometimes what I do makes a difference, sometimes it goes unappreciated and does not; but all we can do is our best. And if helps a few along the way our lives and the world is that bit better...Wishing you all healing, love and peace
