@heartathome we did end up leaving about 20 minutes early as we were saturated and I was shivering and my fingers were numb, and my friend's toes were numb. And since it was my partner's birthday present to go, I let him drink, and I offered to drive back to the hotel. I had two alcoholic drinks early in the day, so nothing later in the day/night to warm me up. But I still enjoyed myself. I took a wheelchair as my back would not have let me walk as far as I needed to, so I just sat there people watching and enjoying anyone that was dancing and/or enjoying themselves. You couldn't take umbrella's inside, but there was one guy who had a tiny umbrella, about 20cm in diameter, and he stuck it on the end of a walking stick and was walking around, placing it over people's heads. It would not have stopped much rain, but it made the people smile and laugh. He put a lot of smiles on people's faces throughout the day, from something so simple. It's those sort of moments in life that I enjoy.
Yeah the gallstone pain is not nice. I would prefer to go through child birth again, than suffering that pain. My last attack was on 31st Oct and I had it two days in a row. On the 2nd attack I ended up spending 18 hours in hospital. I am trying to be very mindful of what I eat and drink, so I don't brink on another attack.
This is one surgery I am looking forward to. Plus while they are in there, they are going to try and fix my problem of food constantly getting stuck, which I have put out with for 18 years, ever since I had a lap band. It only lasted two years and I had to get it taken out. So fingers crossed the procedure works. I will feel like a new person.
I am just waiting on the V8 Supercar race this afternoon, while I am going through emails, and catching up on here.
Enjoy the rest of your day
