@Shaz51 maybe Jimmy Barns next year. I saw him when I was in my 20's.

@Shaz51 I think the best concerts that I have been to were Dire Straits and Nickleback.

@Shaz51 yeah they wouldn't have too many up your way. That's a shame.

Being in Adelaide we miss out on a lot of concerts as they think we're too small.

@Mustang67 Did it rain while the concert was on? It sounds like a great night! I really like Vika and Linda! I know the names of a couple of the other bands but can't say I've listened to them. Can you tell me what city the concert was at?

@heartathome it rained on and off all day, but just before Crowded House came on, it bucketed down. And since it was on a golf course there was no cover. It was held in Mannum, SA.

I don't think I had heard Vika and Linda before, but I liked them. I am not good with band names and knowing what they play. Most of the line up I had no idea what songs they would play. But I did recognise a lot of them. It was great watching the older generation getting up and dancing and having a good time.

I am just chilling out today. I have a big pre operative appointment tomorrow as I am finally getting my gallbladder removed on the 17th after over a year of pain. I am so looking forward to it.

What about you? Any plans?

i like a lot of what this man is saying about shadows casting, but pondering this song, having struggled with anxiety for most of my life, i wonder who, or what casts these shadows at me? Myself? Or is there more to my shadows being used to scare the crap out of me?

@REDLINEZ750 I do like the beat to that song. You always seem to find songs, I have never heard of. But that's probably because I don't have other people to influence me. Lol

I'm like you @Mustang67 as I don't know many later musicians but do recognise some of their songs. So, you got rained on. Oh no! It didn't spoil the night by the sounds of it!

I love watching anyone dance. It puts a smile on my face. I would have been one of them oldies! 😆

I'm sorry to hear that you've been in pain for over a year (that's massive!) but am glad the operation is coming up soon! A friend of mine had hers taken out about six months ago. It was such a relief for her!

I did some washing and then went to church this morning and will probably be online for the afternoon. 😎 💛
