My Grandfather and cousins were in the Navy

My aunty said that my grandfather changed after returning home from the war

to me he always seem wonderful to me ( maybe i was one of his favourites)

Hi guys,

Does anyone feel like a coffee, tea or milo? What has been your highlight today. My highlight was going out to lunch at a Chinese restaurant today. I don't eat a lot of Chinese because I am fussy but it was for a friend's birthday celebration.

I am about to have sausages and onions on bread with sauce

• I was physically sick, but took the time to actually rest and look after myself. I used to ignore self care and everything would get worse. But now I recognise tipping points for my mental health and prevent my symptoms from escalating by acknowledging them. A stitch in time saves 9. Also took the time at home to start a new knitting project. Knitting is therapy for me as I have to concentrate on what I'm doing just enough to not to get caught up in overthinking. I also have learnt not to give up if I make a mistake. My perfectionism used to make knitting stressful as I wasn't immediately good at it like most other areas of my life. In my childhood I learnt mistakes could equal danger so I would become stressed by errors. Instead of feeling proud of 99.9% accuracy I would notice the failure of the 0.1%... I'm proud of being able to overcome this in my life and now enjoy knitting projects for my friends and family to show them I love them. I'm currently knitting something for myself though as I have a tendency to forget about my own needs above others and I deserve to enjoy the fruits of my hard earned labour as well
