Yarning space

Feeling a bit anxious

Feeling a bit anxious

Is there other people on this space that have had times they feel anxious

At a training day, its in the city

I only vaguely know one person and most of the content isnt really practical for me.

I struggle to sit and listen in these kind of things and I need to move around a lot and If I cant do that I just sit there and think about how I am so uncomfortable and not taking anything in

When theres group things I havent listened all day even when I have tried to so I have nothing to add.

I realised I needed space so I have gone to this like reserve park thing to reset

I really find these days hard

Re: Feeling a bit anxious

I don’t know if they would help
I have heard things about meds that I’m not overly fond of
I used to be medicated when I was younger but not as much as an adult
and doesng it cost heaps to get them even though I have a diagnosis of adhd already
It’s all a bit much for my head
Theres so much going on up there
I would like to hear from someone who’s gotten the meds as an adult and it’s helped them
Because I just know only negative things

Hey can you beleive our little miss tiny is 6 weeks old? She’s starting to become a little more alert now
and little miss not so tiny turned 2 recently?

Actually, I know a lot of adults on ADHD meds. I reckon it's something you can discuss with your Aboriginal Health Service. It's more for times when you need to to get that 'noise' out @ArraDreaming

Wow! Little miss is 6 wks already! She'll be keeping you up more soon! And Big miss is 2! Time flies!

Anyway, I'm heading off now and wrapping up. I'll see you next time I'm on. I'm not officially on tomorrow, so will see you maybe Friday or the weekend.

Have a good night.

Idk Tyme,
I think I would rather not, I’m also not really happy with taking anxiety meds but I do, most of the time
Nah, theres no possible way she can keep us up any more then she is
between all 4 of the kids waking up at different times I was so tired the other night at 2am I fell asleep at the bathroom sink standing up

I take them, they help enormously. also rate fidget spinners or something like that and lots of use of headphones for noise cancelling or reduction. try to think of these things as just possible tools to help - you wouldn't bbq without tongs or you'd burn your hands.

and you think they are helpful? Have you been on them for a bit?  good to know I just didn’t like my old experiences of them and then I havnt heard a lot of success story’s so that’s helpful

I often find I end up with bolts or screws in my pockets and I just use them ha

Spin them in my hand in my jacket pocket a bit
