Sunday night chat -- 27th July 2025

They were pretty decent, thanks @Shaz51 . Although I had forgotten I had decided not to buy Chinese cabbage for them (because I dont have a use for the rest of the cabbage, and cant buy just a small amount) - so they were a little plain. I shall have to think up what else to substitute in instead next time, or else plan it in the same week as something else using Chinese cabbage.

I've been really good at making a dinner meal plan each week, and mostly sticking to it. I'm happy if we stick to it for 6/7 dinners per week. Helps me eat healthier foods. I've gotten tired of the supermarket frozen meals and there are many flavours I dont like, and I need lower-gi or low-carb foods, so my options are pretty limited.

Today I was studying the novel I'm teaching from tomorrow. I made notes on key passages for the first five chapters. Now my eyes are tired.
