@Shaz51 The rain will help them settle in nicely. You’re so lucky to have some sun. We are in stormy/cold weather here in Victoria with no beautiful rays of sunshine. Send some down our way lol!

Sounds like you’ve had a busy day so far but it’s good you’re back home relaxing now.

@Cuddlebear still no luck with a new place then? I remember a couple of your other posts now you mention needing to move. I did enjoy 3d printing, unfortunately a combination of life and someone ruining it for me turned me off continuing with it. I tried getting my son into it, and I did buy him one, but I have no idea if he even still has it or uses it. trying to sell the idea of if he could imagine it, design it in the free software, then he can 3d print it. I think he did 3d print some anime weaponry, plastic daggers etc.

@Former-Member Still no luck with a new rental. Last inspection I went to had over 50 people and the line was all the way up the street. There’s literally not enough rentals to go round and it’s not looking good for me at all. Really tough out there in private rental and it’s causing me a lot of worry.

That’s really upsetting to hear that life/and someone else has turned you off the 3D printing. I do hope though thwt your son is using the printer you gifted him. Lots of fun stuff for kids to make with that sort of printer.

@Cuddlebear I'm sorry about your rental woes, I last rented a few years ago and it was insane back then, so I can't imagine what it's like now, especially in a decent area and at a reasonable price.

@Cuddlebear @Former-Member @Shaz51 big hugs to all of you

@Cuddlebear sounds like a good decision to stay in, yeah the weather for this weekend definitely makes going outside difficult for sure. seems like a good weekend for cozy self care for us all I reckon

I love a good cappuccino as well 😊 I have been trying to source some good coffee grounds lately since I love brewing it that way as a pourover kinda thing for at home. I went off coffee for a couple years just cause of anxiety but I’ve been missing it and reckon I could go well having it again, the place I usually order grounds from no longer delivers to me though so lately I’ve been trying to refresh my memory on what I know I’ve liked previously

I’m really sorry you’re still having trouble finding a new place, I’ve had similar distressing rental crisis issues in the past before but I can’t imagine how stressful it must be for you. The whole situation with the housing crisis is just so shocking. Has anyone from NDIS been able to help you with finding anywhere?
