@Shaz51 Spaghetti is one of my favourites! We’re having sausages with mash potato and Greek salad.

I'm making a new-ish dish for me: Black-eyed peas in ethiopian-spice (berbere) and coconut milk. I used to make this recipe but with chicken and lentils instead of black eye peas, but somewhere in my past I saw and bought black-eye peas and I want to use them in my pantry so I'm making the as-intended recipe for the first time.

I really do not like cooking dried beans/peas though. I need to not buy them dried - they take so long to boil soft! Today the peas took over an hour. I've given up on using dried Red Kidney Beans because I can soak them for over 24 hours and then cook them for 2 hours and they're still hard! I need to get my pressure cooker onto them and get them out of my pantry too!

Evening all!

I did have plans of weekend sports with my tiny humans, But the rain we are having has cancelled them all. So I am looking forward to a weekend of couch laziness, a movie or two and some hot chocolate and a glass or 2 of red by the fireplace.

I am grateful for the rain we have had all day today. Even though it is too cold, it is long needed in this neck of the woods.

Nothing special planned this weekend. Just chillin'

Looking forward to watching the live action snow white with my tiny humans. We haven't seen that yet and I am hoping it isn't as bad as the reviews :S
