One year I'd love to go down to the snow in Vic with my dogs. There is a dog friendly town that gets snow I read about. But it is very popular, so it is very expensive to stay at. One year though I could do it as a treat.

Been similar with temperatures where I am recently @AlwaysMyself

I prefer day time temperatures in the 20’s with overnight in the 10’s. Far too cold for me this winter

@AlwaysMyself So very good to meet you. I’ve found it really nice here and people are friendly and understanding. I hope you will also have the same experience. We can all feel so disconnected especially from people who can understand how we are feeling so it’s a really good place to share with peers.

Oh wow I didn’t know there was somewhere that is dog friendly near the snow! I’ve been to the snow but years ago. It is so expensive even if not staying on the mountains.

I just like regular coffee I make in a plunger. Bit of milk and sugar and all good. In a cafe I love a decent cappuccino! With lots of chocolate on top and a marshmallow lol! 😂

Love the croquet Patches59 only played once but it was a lot of fun. I’ve lost a lot of my sight now so not so easy to play which sucks as it is something I’d love to take up.

3. Hearing a bird in my neighbourhood that I haven’t recognised the sound of before

4. Not sure what I’m looking forward to, maybe cooking that first really nice meal after getting a much needed top up on grocery shopping

I have two borzoi (take a greyhound and make everything longer: legs, body, nose, hair...). They are also known as "Russian Wolfhounds" or 'long nose dogs/goats'.

I like Iced Coffee- sweet and cold. But I try to get no-added-sugar ones, or add my own non-sugar sweetener at cafes. I find coffee too bitter without sugar/sweetener, but I also try to limit sugar where I can, so I made a good decision for myself not to adopt the Indonesian coffee-with-condensed-milk version 😛

Hi all,

1. No weekend plans yet. I might play lawn bowls tomorrow, but the weather's supposed to be terrible with rain and storms and wind coming in...so it's a wait and see kind of thing.

2. I'm grateful for the forums this week - it's been a really tough one and I've found support here.

3. Special moments? I don't know.

4. I'm looking forward to making a cup of coffee, sitting in the quiet of my home and taking a moment to decompress this afternoon.
