@Shaz51 it's not a dye, it's low dose radioactive marker. I have had a few because of my cancers and also my other weird inflammatory/immune disease. Along with every other known scan!!
It would take a while for you to clear the radioactivity because of low kidney function, but it's only low level radiation.
Unfortunately people with CKD will eventually end up with MBD. Like just having CKD is not enough.

Are you eligible for external services rather that just yourself being carer for Mr Shaz?

Sorry you’re in pain @Shaz51. When do you get your X-ray results. This winter is really playing havoc with my osteoarthritis. It’s such a drag living with pain so hoping there are things throughout the day that bring you joy and distract if only for a moment 🙏❤️
