@Chasingsunsets the morning coffee was a good one, it was from there that everything kind of went pear shaped. The chats are definitely helping and it's lovely to get to know everyone here. Did think about having some chocolate but the closest I got was a chocolate cupcake 🤣. Thanks for the support 🩵.

Yes they are the type of fidget spinners I like aswell, I have a range of different fidget toys. My latest is a spikey one and the top part spins so kind of helps with sensory aswell as fidgeting 😀

@rav3n i have all sorts of fidget toys, spinning ones, ones that click, ones that have sensory textures. Hope you get a better sleep tonight and the coffees help in the meantime 🙂

@Shaz51 Ooh thats big news. I qualify for cochlear but chose not to have it done. I’m happy with my hearing aids. How do you feel about cochlear?

Have had hearing aid for a long time and am used to them @Cuddlebear

I only have one as my left ear is totally deaf

How are you feeling about the idea of the cochlea implants @Shaz51? Hope the appt goes well, I did read something briefly about new tech for them or a whole new type of one, can’t remember now but find them interesting, not sure how they really work, but think it does involve surgery to put part of it in? But yeah not too sure

If you want to chat about the pros/cons and the experiences of my friends with cochlear implants (pros/cons, and the "learning" to interpret the sounds of it) let me know. I have a number of friends who have cochlear implants, and a few who decided to not use them later also for various reasons. Having said this, all my friends are known from Auslan-using deaf community, so those who decided not to continue using their implant processor later in life had all learned Auslan and had community through that.

I also have a number of friends who just have hearing aids like @Cuddlebear . (And some that have neither).

@Chasingsunsets the McD queue debacle was a few years ago. 🙂 yesterday afternoon I had a short nap in the end, and then a friend over for dinner which was very nice.

@rav3n, good afternoon to you! Guess what the food critic (me lol) has come up with a decision after taste testing the up and gos 😅… 🥁 Banana is the best flavour so far! Definitely have to agree with you! Strawberry second 😊. Had gym today so had one in the morning, nice and easy/ quick drink to have!

@Blackcloud, thought of you! I had a delicious smoothie, not the carrot one I was telling you about but from the same place, I got a pineapple/ passion fruit one ! Was nice and refreshing just what I felt like.
