Just dropping by to say Hello to you @Anastasia .

I did two bird counts yesterday and found it rather difficult to be accurate. Birds fly in then fly away - and I can't tell if the same ones are returning. As for identification - I just did the best I could. I have never paid enough attention in my entire life to have realized there is a difference between a pigeon and a dove! Now I know! I'll probably do another count today.

Didn't see the Fairy Wren at self storage complex yesterday but Willy Wagtail was there doing his thing... so cute, even came to the front gate, satvup on the fence watching, waving his fantail... almost as if he knew this was my last time 💙💙💙

@Owlunar P.S. Just further to Stellarium - there are quite a few apps available for stargazing. I have also downloaded Sky View Lite onto my mobile - Stellarium is just the first one I heard about. A neighbour tells me Sky View Lite is very good too.

I was told you just point your mobile up at the sky and it tells you what you are seeing.

Of course, all the more informative parts of the app are paid and I haven't got to that stage myself yet. More to learn beforehand. Best wishes.

I'm sorry @Former-Member I have not been hiding away.

I've been too stressed, & too tired - to even try to connect with anyone (or write).

My lovely Birds are not getting much attention - If I could spend more time with them, that would help to Relax & De-Stress me (a bit).

I just spent most of today, doing an Induction - for a job.

The Job is in Aged Care (mostly people in their 80's).

The Pros do not outweigh the Cons - Costs could well be greater than Benefits.

It involves a horrendous amount of driving - easily more than 100Km per day.

That's because you have to drive between 1 hour & 2 hour shifts (people's homes).

My Body won't like that - That's what gave me Bursitis in my left shoulder (last job).

They don't pay any Kms, for use of my own car (Transporting Clients), either.

The Pay $ is very Low - $10 per hour Less (even), than what I was being paid in Disability Support.
