@orez I really don’t think it feels like any one feeling. I have been called resilient, and it’s probably true. I believe it incorporates all the feelings a human being has encountered on their unique journey in life and still found a way to survive, and even, hopefully, thrive.

It feels like an ultimatum from the 'normal' world to the suffering: "We can do whatever we want to you, and you will sit there and take it with a smile. You will not talk back or act out in response. If you do, we'll make you regret it!"

It feels horrible. I don’t like being called resilient. I don’t like having to be resilient.

Hearing you @Bow . It's totally okay not to like being called resilient, or not wanting to need to be resilient.
I guess we all have our own levels of resilience and yours will look different to others.

We're talking about Resilience here, right? Not Reliance?
Just wanted to clarify @orez
