I am also new here and working on some significant life challenges. Maybe they are not the same challenges as you, but I welcome anyone to chat about their situation and willing to discuss my situation. For me just having ‘company’ at least takes me away from the constant battle going on in my head. And as it gets easier with time (he said hopefully) I hope to lean on my experiences to help others get through their challenges.
I watched an Adam Sandler movie where he fast forwarded every boring or difficult situation and suddenly found himself old and with many lost life experiences. So I am trying not to fast forward the mental recovery process even though I wish I had a remote some days.
