Good morning, im here again.
Hi Everyone,
I have returned to the forums.. at a time in my life where there is significant change and disruption to my routine and my cosy hermit shell... this time I feel more comfortable in myself to share, in the past I have just listened (read) and possibly not had the understanding of myself see similarities and only comparison.
So today I write a post at 7:05am, about to start my 2nd day at a new job. After 8 months unemployed due to OCD symptoms causing havoc on my ability to leaving the house, I have successfully moved into a home with my partner and children, and I am 2 years, 10 months post survival of my last attempt at ending my life post BP1 episode and im possibly more scared than I have ever been in my life.
I can see all the positive... however living well with severe and persistent mental illness is not something ive done on my own before or felt ive done successfully... in the "real world". Navigating the workforce or the social expectations. 🤔
Anyway... I appreciate you all, im grateful for this space to speak openly, looking forward to connecting with you all 💙
Have an Epic Tuesday 😎
