@Blackcloud Ginger tea sounds nice, personally I'd put some honey in as well, for sweetness. natural honey has a lot of anti viral and anti bacterial properties.

@Jynx

Yes once done you could use it as a stim and just run your hands backwards and forwards over it. I actually don’t know what I am doing with it when it’s finished. I have a friend who wants my dragon and owl ones when they are done. I also have a friend to send my sunflower one to.

@Former-Member I did not know about that 😮 I usually avoid anything that involves honey in it because of how sweet it is so I always thought that it was unhealthy. But I did use honey just a month or so again to make the lemon-honey warm water to cure my coughs ☺️

@Blackcloud Cold pressed honey is better than the processed honey. as the processed honey is often heated and blended with other ingredients.

Had to google that one @Blackcloud but now I am learning new things! Ginger tea sounds awesome, do you just slice up fresh ginger and chuck it in some boiling water?

Yeah @Former-Member also heat-trated honey has no where near as many nutritional benefits! I have been tryna source local too, cos apparently eating local honey can help the body's antihistamine response cope better with local pollen!

@Oaktree ooh your crafts are in high demand!! I imagine it's new home will become apparent in time hehe. Oooh random idea though... it would be SO COOL to have like, a feature wall in a house that's just alll floofy cross stitch!! But then....the cleaning... 😅

Hi @NightFury 🙂

@Jynx from what my naturopath just told me, she said that you basically just blend a decent sized chunk of ginger (a quick slice of the ginger is better) in a blender/food processor with just enough water to make it blend and then you place the ginger mix/liquid onto the ice cubes (I assume it’s the ice cube tray she meant?) and pop it in the freezer. Then when they’re frozen, it’s ready. You then just need to pop one, two or three of the cubes onto the boiling water - and that’s done!

@Jynx @Former-Member im gonna have to look up the cold pressed honey, are they’re available in supermarkets - like Aldi, woollies?

@Jynx speaking of anti histamines, I used to take them everyday for over 10 years, the funny thing is, since going gluten free, and my body not being in a constant state of inflammation, I've only had to have one tablet. It's the same story with having to take garlic, horseradish and vitamin c tablets to ward off sinusitis.

@Blackcloud The ones in the supermarkets will should say on the label whether they are cold pressed or heat treated.
