@Cuddlebear The topic that we’re doing for our essay is “how does sensory marketing influence decision-making?” it’s not a hard topic. It’s just that the only issue I have with it now is that you would have to spend quite a lot of time finding evidences through articles that are usually many pages long and….just knowing what to write in general. I’ve been working on this essay for like almost 3? weeks now so you can imagine how overwhelming it is lol. But yeah it’s not due until less than 4 weeks so yeah. Good thing I’ve managed to write out a really rough draft for each 3 of the paragraphs though I still need more time to actually finish working on those and then I can move on to drafting my introduction and conclusion.

I know that my paragraphs are perhaps not at above standard level so I don’t wanna get my hopes up on getting a higher mark cause I know I won’t. Bet I’d be getting somewhere within the 60s I hope… on my uni’s LMS/canvas, they have their dedicated AI study sidekick tool and I’ve been using that literally everytime I’m working on this essay now because so far it has been able to help me with how to structure my paragraphs and what points specifically I need to talk about, but they can’t write the content for you because it has to be your own work. If it wasn’t for this AI study sidekick tool then I would be full on struggling with the essay by now haha

@Till23 Good morning. I hope the weekend of sport goes really well. I think you’ll do an awesome job of it and like all of us when new to something learn heaps too. Totally understand not being able to say which sport and anonymity.

Yes I’ll have an OT come out and help with setting a few things up so I can use them. I’ve got a bit of help with packing as it’s challenging doing it all by myself. It’s going ok so far. Very exhausting though packing and moving then unpacking!

Sounds like you’ve already done a lot of work in your assignment. It’s an interesting topic but I hear you on the amount of reading and work through drafts etc. It’s good you’ve started it early so you can do it in smaller bits which makes it easier and less stressful.

Are you studying today? I think you said you are going Chadstone on Sunday?

@Cuddlebear yeah I plan to study today, not sure if I plan on doing it at the library or at home but we’ll see how I’ll go about it this afternoon. And yes I’m going to Chadstone tomorrow on Sunday.

by the way, you mentioned that you were or are a uni lecturer right? If you’re familiar with the grading system for undergraduate degrees, I want to know what happens if you fail an exam but have like say, passed every other assessments within a unit? Because this unit I’m doing doesn’t have any hurdle assessments/tasks, but you do have to get at least 50% overall in the unit (even if you fail an assessment in the unit). I hope that makes sense. I wasn’t sure if the final exam counts as an ‘assessment’ but yeah.

@Blackcloud If the unit you are doing has an overall 50% to pass and you don’t have to also have 50% for each assessment then as long as you get 50% overall you will pass. Check the subject guide as it should tell you.

I am so so and feeling a bit lonely. Another weekend alone and it is hard getting through it. I really dislike this hole I’m in but on my own I’m finding it hard to lift myself out.

Awww thank you. It’s nice to know someone is there sitting with me online. Since I had the bypass surgery and amputation I’ve been so alone. It’s an awful feeling staring at walls all day.

@Cuddlebear Working on my essay right now and from the looks of it all, I’m confident that I’m gonna end up getting a mark of somewhere around the 50s or 60s. That’s the mark average that I always get for every essays (both high school & uni) really….though I got a 67% for my very first University essay (that was for undergraduate certificate in fine art for art history) which was a bit higher than I expected lol 🥲

like I’ve been putting all my effort and my hardest onto this current one so far (at least I’d like to think that I am….) generally, all uni lecturers are far more better than all high school teachers.
