@Blackcloud I’m sorry you are feeling awful and having flashbacks. I experience this too from traumatic events. I’ve been diagnosed with complex PTSD. I’m not a doctor but it sounds like the childhood events from school have been traumatic for you. You’ve been worried about the volunteer work at Lifeline and this can cause trauma to re surface.
Some things that might work is to remind yourself that you are safe now and to use some grounding or breathing techniques. Going for a walk (exercise) can help too. Sometimes these things help me.

It's started raining here again after a couple of good days where I got a load of washing dry - yay!
My garlic bulb shoots have peeked out of the soil now and are looking good - hope all this rain doesn't cause them to rot!
