Thanks, now I have a little purple finch called Poppy to look after. I have done some of the things but still have some things left to do. No idea what to do for something that makes me happy lol.

Nope, you hatch them. You open the app and sometimes you'll get an egg. You tie the egg to a goal. When you've done that goal 7 times you get a micropet.

then press micropets
press on professor Oates at top right of your screen where it says lab
when you don’t have an egg he will give you one
