Flower is taking a break

Hi All,

Just to let you know I'll take a little break from the forums. I've had an extremely hard week (yes I know it's only hump day) and I need a mental break. I am safe, but won't come online for a few days.

I am sad today to leave hospital, my new little safe haven. I am worried about facing up to the real world again. I am grateful for the new tools I learnt and the new relationships and memories I have made here in such a short time.

And I am really excited to see my husband and go back home.

A break that most certainly leaves me with one laughing and one crying eye and I would just wish that all hospitals & nurses & patients had the compassion and passion like this one has.

I am still not sure whether I will stay on the forums or leave permanently, I think I'll just wait and see. I do want to live more in the real world and hide less in the virtual world.

I held your hand when it was already cold on the hospital bed

I held your face and said good bye

I held your urn when we buried your ashes

I'm taking a break from the forum to feel my feelings.

I hope you will all look after yourself and try to make every new day a better day, as life can be over in a flash, my Dad was only in his early 50s. Take care x

@Former-Member. Take care of yourself. Remember those beautiful moments that you and your dad shared. He sounds like he was a wonderful man and father.

Thank you all.

My Dad died many years ago, a lot of memories are very cloudy around the time he died, but some moments I will never forget. I still miss him.
