My life sucks
And I have no hope that it’ll get better, despite being told by everyone that spoken to that it would. But I know for a fact that it won’t, not even in decades time.

@Blackcloud oh sweet, not another drink that's been crappy. There's also nothing wrong with screaming into a pillow to get that frustration out.
Hugs sweetheart ❤️

Drinks can be very hit and miss sometimes! Happens to the best of us, you didn't do anything wrong whatsoever though I promise. It wasn't 'wasted' - you tried it and know for future it's not your vibe💓

@Honeymoon @MissGremlin Yeah I usually get the one from Sharetea and that one is much better than the one from Chatime (plus it was my first time ordering that specific drink from Chatime) 😂
I guess this is another reason to completely avoid Chatime now like I already did😂
I was originally gonna go order a drink from GongCha but there were already a lot of people waiting in the queue to order from the machines so I had to go to the place where there wasn’t any queue 😔
it’s also pretty nerve wracking talking to the counter when it comes to ordering so self-serve machines are always my go-to😅

Awww thats always dissapointing when that happens @Blackcloud ! I find iced lattes are really hit-and-miss for me. I bought one this morning at a cafe and it tasted quite bitter and too strong (despite being half-strength); but i got through it 😅 with adding my sweetner i carry with me lol. I hate the feeling of wasting money too!
And i agree screaming or crying into a pillow is totally ok and healthy safe way to express the emotion 😊.
I broke into tears once when i was stressed and depressed and a cafe didnt have the type of advertised drink i wanted - and there wasnt anything else i wanted instead. 😅

@AlwaysMyself like last week I bought myself an iced black coffee from a Vietnamese banh mi shop, and because I never tried or tasted black coffee before (even though I’ve heard it tastes bitter😅) I still wanted to try it cause I thought black coffee would be like the healthiest one (I don’t drink coffee tho don’t worry). I paid like $7.50 for it and the moment I tasted it I knew it was an instant throw-it-away-in-the-bin & I lowkey hated myself for wasting that much on a useless drink that I’m sure no one likes/wants & was pretty upset about it for a few hours 😂 part of it is also because of the today’s cost of living because no wonder the prices and everything is driving us nuts 😂😂😅😔

I wonder whether the black iced coffee *did* have a use though @Blackcloud ? You tasted/tried a new thing, and now you know its not something you like or need to buy again! That's learning something new about yourself 😊. And the only way to know/learn that, is to try one! And its perfectly normal to not like everything you try. 😊
I know a number of people who like black coffee - iced or hot. But definitely not for me either!
Sometimes when i want to try something but i dont know if i will like it, i try to work out if i know someone else who might like it and then invite them to try it with me 😛 so that if i dont like it then they can have the rest of it!!

@AlwaysMyself oh yeahhhh that can be true!! 😊 you’re right about that hehe — now that you’ve mentioned it, it makes me realise something.. so over a decade ago I’ve first tried tasting the cherry ripe chocolate and then a few years after that I tasted it again — both times I didnt like it and was certain that I wouldn’t be buying it again. Then a few weeks later, I started tasting it again and by that moment I realised that I actually do quite like it. So in some situations like this, it’s like the more you try it the more you’ll eventually like it? Like the taste would seem bad at first but then the more you taste it it doesn’t turn out as bad as it is? (Of course, I’m not saying that that applies to things that are naturally bitter like matcha and black coffee) even though I know a lot of people don’t like cherry ripe, but I’m one of the minorities that do quite like it 😊🍒🍫
the last part sounds like a good suggestion as well - then that means I can easily ‘vent’ to them on how bad it tastes too instead of dealing with all these emotions and thoughts on my own 😌😊💪🏼

Oohh i like cherry ripe too @Blackcloud . Possinly because it has dark chocolate lol. Odd because i dont really like coconut things. But i guess the chocolate flavour is nice and covers it lol. Cherry ripe are better than bounty - theyre even more coconutty.
I wonder if your support worker would be interested in supporting you with trying new things? (Being a person it is safe to vent to, and supportive and safe even if it does end up in a meltdown)
But also there is neo pressure to need to try new foods/drinks either! I reckon its one of those optional things in life 😊

@Blackcloud sorry I didn't reply sweet. One of those moments that I struggled to find words.
Well at least you tried it, hopefully next time the other place isn't as busy so you can order from there ☺️.
Can also understand how hard it is to order at the counter rather than a self serve machine.
