Something’s not right

My life sucks

My life sucks

And I have no hope that it’ll get better, despite being told by everyone that spoken to that it would. But I know for a fact that it won’t, not even in decades time.

Re: My life sucks

@Cuddlebear Yeah, but I wish I’d be brave enough or have the courage enough to enter into the entertainment industry myself though lol

Hello! @Blackcloud

I realised I hadn't responded to this message - I am so sorry!

@AuntGlow Nothing much. Though I still tend to have some thoughts about life & why my life has been the way it is…to the point where I do have thoughts of su!c!de but I don’t have intentions to act on these thoughts. So I guess you could say I’m doing ok overall despite me dealing with life challenges in general.

well…why would I need a tutor to help build my confidence for the exams??? Doesnt change the fact that exams being closed-book are the reason why I’m complaining about it, even with having a disability plan at uni myself, somehow they still can’t accomodate exams to be in open book just because the closed-book format is set by the government.

For Bachelor of Arts, I was thinking of majoring in sociology & minor in psychology, because sociology seems more interesting and their units don’t even have exams, whereas for psychology on the other hand pretty much all of the psych units have exams.

I appreciate you sharing this with me. How are things sitting with you today?

I understand... and that must be so frustrating for you. I recall you passing your assessment last week though, which is incredible!!

I think the sociology route is a really great idea. Do you start first semester next year? 🤩

Re: My life sucks

hi @AuntGlow i'm ok today -- I've completed my volunteering shift just in less than 2 hours ago so that has helped me get through the day today.

the last few days I wasn't doing too well mentally but I am continuing to hold on and be present... it's just hard when you know or feel that you have nothing to look forward to. and it doesn't help that having autism and all of these things i have that are apart of my autism are the 'obstacles' to why i've been having the passive s thoughts for a while...y'know...

I'm also gonna be starting the intentional peer support training tomorrow! not sure if you know much about that, but i'm quite looking forward to start it..

Re: My life sucks

Hi @Cuddlebear @oh yeah it’s definitely hot outside today so I’m glad I decided to spend some time coming on shift and helping others 😊 for me, I kinda find that even helping others that are also going through very rough times can also be a way to help myself get through or deal with my own problems too, and that’s what I like about being there for people.

I’m about to start doing the intentional peer support training course tomorrow and I’m quite looking forward to it 🙂

I understand my friend, sitting here with you always 🤗❤️❤️

Re: My life sucks

@Blackcloud How are you today lovely? The forums are having issues this is the second time I’m trying to post up to you.

Yes the volunteering you do is a huge help to people and when you help others you also help yourself.

Good luck with the intentional peer support course. I hope it goes really well today.

I’ve had to reduce my medicine again today so it going to be a hard time. I’m scared and worried.

Re: My life sucks

Hello @Blackcloud,

That sounds amazing! What did you enjoy most about volunteering yesterday?

I hear you... it really is such a heavy feeling. When you're experiencing your lows, what helps you to be compassionate towards yourself/meet yourself where you're at?

eeek! That's SO exciting. Please let me know how it went!! 😍

Re: My life sucks

@Cuddlebear Oh yes the technical issues/glitches are really annoying to deal with indeed hahaha 😂😂😬😬

That’s true, also when I volunteer for this role particularly, it kinda feels like that I’m in a job? So it’s like being in a “job” like this helps me to manage/cope with and take these negative thoughts out of my head

I did the training, and so far it’s going good 🙂

I’m sorry to hear you’re scared and worried regarding reducing the medicine, BIG hugs and support for you my friend ❤️❤️❤️

Re: My life sucks

@AuntGlow the IPS training seems to be going good so far. I had my very first class for it yesterday and I find the content really interesting and very eye-opening as well...being able to provide a safe and non-judgemental space for individuals going through different circumstances even if we haven't experienced such circumstances ourselves...very great course!
