Something’s not right

My life sucks

My life sucks

And I have no hope that it’ll get better, despite being told by everyone that spoken to that it would. But I know for a fact that it won’t, not even in decades time.

Re: My life sucks

@Blackcloud @Good morning 🙂 How are you? What’s on for you today? Do you have Uni classes on a Friday?

I am in the midst of pretty bad symptoms of complex PTSD, depression and anxiety. Not doing so well. There’s a lot of hopelessness and despair and inability to do basic things. I’m also coming down with a cold which isn’t good as I have a chronic illness and when I get sick I really really get sick. Unfortunatly I’m alone which makes it hard 😞

Hopefully you are having a better time of it.

Re: My life sucks

@Cuddlebear at first I actually thought you were gonna respond back to some of the things I’ve mentioned on the previous post..especially since I wrote a lot of stuff there 😅

I’m doing fine today. I woke up at around I think late 9am-ish and then got out of bed at 10-ish am since I only managed to get 3 hours of sleep last night but then I fell back to sleep at around 7am after which was how I woke up in more than 2 hours later.

Technically, since I’m doing uni online (as of now and for my upcoming Bach degree as well) we don’t really have classes/online lectures - the only time we do have them is when the teachers/lecturers only cover the assessments. I’m about to finish up my current assignment soon though. And then the week after is when we have an online test.

I hope you’re feeling better soon ❤️ getting sick during this time is definitely not a great thing for any of us to have☹️ make sure you get lots of rest and look after yourself 💕

Re: My life sucks

@rav3n no worries! 🙂 last night was good I guess - I attended a webinar for the uni I’m gonna be studying my bachelors degree with online yesterday and it was great. 🙂

The psych course starts in early July - so the 7th July. I’m feeling a bit excited about studying it but also nervous about the assessments which are group assignments, exams that will be included in some of the units 🥲🥲🥲 I have registered for the disability services at that uni so hopefully they get back to me soon about booking an appointment with them to create a disability/learning assessment arrangement plan 🙏

oh, and my self paced training for the lifeline volunteer role is about to begin next month and I’m excited for it!! It’s all thanks to you that recommended this lifeline volunteer role to me during the past few months, I seriously could not thank you enough!! 🙂

Re: My life sucks

@Jynx @I didn’t bother to respond back last night since it was already 9pm and I got tired of it 😅

The cottagecore theme is indeed a pretty cool aesthetic!! ☺️✨

I had something else I wanted to mention about but I can’t be bothered typing about it right now so I’m gonna leave it at that here 😅

Re: My life sucks

@Blackcloud ooo glad you liked the webinar, only a few months to go till you start!! yeah assignments can be tricky, but i got my fingers crossed that getting your disability/learning assessment arrangement plan will help reduce some of that stress!! how's your art assignments going? it's starting to get to the busy assessment period, right?

so exciting!! you're very welcome 😊 i do wanna say that the crisis support role can be intense/overwhelming from what i've heard from my friend, so please do take care of yourself and debrief with your supervisor if/when you need!!

Re: My life sucks

@rav3nas of now it’s not busy at all as I’m about to finish up the portfolio assignment that I’m gonna be submitting before the 26th May. I am gonna have one last final one to one feedback session with my lecturer next Tuesday though - but I do think despite her feedback regarding my improvements on my drawings I had to redo a few days ago (the feedback she’ll give me in the next session), I don’t think I’m gonna change anything about these drawings as I’m already done with this assessment and rather not waste more time trying to make them look like whatever improvements she’ll say to me and might again demonstrate to me with.

then the week after we’re just gonna have the online test for art history which is only gonna last for a few days & is due on the Wednesday that same week. After that, I’m all done for those two units! 🥳

oh yeah..I can imagine the overwhelmness that comes from the role - I’m gonna see how I’ll go with that too cause I think it’s very likely that I’m just gonna do the training and the role for only 2 hours per week (they require you or recommend you to have shifts that are up to 4 hours per fortnight - but you can also do more than that if you wish). Yeah, we’re lucky that the team also offers volunteer group therapy sessions to give us the opportunity to debrief on things so I’m looking forward to that! They seem very supportive too! 😊

Re: My life sucks

@Blackcloud i don't know if it feels like this for you, but for me, time feels like its flown by this year! feels like it was only last week that you were sharing your transition to an art course and now you're almost done with the 2 units!

oh that's perfect! 2hrs per week sounds like a nice balance, and those debrief opportunities are great too.

do you have much on this weekend?

Re: My life sucks

@rav3n Haha that means I’d be halfway done throughout the undergraduate certificate degree by then. I was thinking of choosing the 2 remaining units from that degree as part of my electives with cross-institutional study but I’m not sure if I’m able to or if that’ll be possible.

Tomorrow I’ll be going for a follow up laser hair removal session - it’ll be my second last one and then the last one will be next month. 🙂 not sure what I’m gonna be doing for Sunday though - it’s either I go out for a walk or just stay at home.

What about you?
