@Blackcloud i find it so frustrating so I can only imagine how you feel about it. I would have thought that a good education and pursuing a career would be more favourable than getting into a relationship and getting married at a young age. I wish your mum would change her mindset and be guided by the things you want in life.

@tyme Babe. If I built an A-Frame. I would not design it like this.
The way he has done it is sh!te. Upstairs where I am, has an attic feel to it, because of the metal stairs.
If I had built it, upstairs would be an accessed by a U shape staircase with two landings to reach the mezzanine floor.
I would have put in either skylights or at least one window on the East and West sides.
I don’t think my friends understand that this A-Frame isn’t up to code.
When they sell the property, eventually. They can’t say that the A-Frame is a dwelling.
I would have these stairs.

part of me would like to go on a cruise
my in-laws have been on various cruises and loved the entire experience. My MIL accidentally breaking her hubbys arm whilst on a cruise once wasn’t the good thing for him

What IS THAT @Glisten ? My brain is all confused with all the stairs! I want an A frame in my yard as a retreat! I love the idea! Wow, wow and wow! I want an egg chair and a hammock there. Is there a toilet or kitchen? Sorry for my ignorance.
@Former-Member - we'd have to go on a cruise together lol. I've got on one to go with either. I'm not sure what it's like though. You know what?I knew a couple to went on a cruise to Italy, and it was supposed to be for a few months. Early on, the wife slipped and broke her arm so they had to come home. Is breaking an arm on a cruise the 'norm'????
