Feeling Hopeless

Feeling Hopeless

    Content/trigger warning
    I am a 22 yo.

    I have CPTSD and depression.

    I was raised by toxic parents, who used to mentally and physically abuse me. After escaping from my family, I was raised by another toxic family (i was forced to believe in their cult, they constantly screamed at me etc).

    I was bullied in my primary school and racially discriminated in highschool.
    I have sexually abused by so many people.

    I lost some people who I thought I could seek help from.

    now I am experiencing workplace bullying due to my race. I told my manager and the HR but they not rly working on it.

    I feel really hopeless. I had enough of this. I don’t want to continue being here, but i’m scared of dying.

    I know there are some things I like about this world but I’m really tired. Idk what to do. I feel like I’m the problem and if I wasn’t here, there wouldn’t be any problems.

Hey @Bear00 , I'm sorry to hear things are so tough for you at the moment.

I hope the admission goes well.

Is there anything the community can do to make it easier for you tonight?

@tyme

Thank you for your reply:)

Admission went well but I’m still having a hard time.

But I’m trying my best to get better.

Just knowing that someone is there for me in this community makes me feel that I still have a hope to live ⭐️

@Bear00 I know I don't know you, so it sounds strange to say, perhaps, but I am really proud of you for doing what you need to stay safe and hopefully get a little more back to baseline. All the best. Depending on whether you have internet access or not, please update us or feel free to just vent about anything. We're all here to support you.

@tyme @balance37

Thank you so much🥹

I’m doing okay..! I feel safer at the ward:)

I’ve been learning some good strategies to manage my intense emotions. Those r called TIPP strategies and so far I’m liking the one I put the ice pack on my temple.

I still struggle with my CPTSD and depression and sometimes I get rly worried about what will happen after my discharge. But for now I’m trying my best to get better.

thank you all for caring about me❤️‍🩹 each of you guys reply make me feel that I am worthy enough and someone is actually thinking about me.

Re: Feeling Hopeless

Hey @Bear00 ,

So glad to hear from you! I'm glad to hear you are making the most out of your stay there. I have heard of TIPP many times before. Hope you find a ways to keep practising all these tools in your tool kit 🙂

Do you know how long you will be staying there?

In response to: Re: Feeling Hopeless

Re: Feeling Hopeless

I will try my best to keep practicing the good strategies 🙂

My doctor said 3 weeks.

Re: Feeling Hopeless

I hope you can make the most of the three weeks. Do they have activities and education classes while you are there? Or craft groups? @Bear00
