High functioning ASD

High functioning ASD

Hello everyone

Could not find a thread about high functioning ASD so I thought of starting a new thread

My husband's specialist thinks he has high functioning ASD but has not gone to get a proper diagnosis

As I have read some information, I can see it in my step children who has adhd

And I can see it in my husband

Re: High functioning ASD

Yes, hoping that you continue to recover and stay well @Shaz51!

Dinner was really nice, we had lots of thai food and I baked a chocolate cake which was yum!

I have a brother and a sister, so when we all get together with our partners and my sisters 3 daughters it ends up being quite a get together!

Re: High functioning ASD

I'm glad he changed his mind too @Shaz51 mowing the lawn doesn't sound like a good flu activity!

I've got a bit of a busy day, I'm going on a multi-day hike over the weekend, leaving tomorrow morning, so I'm getting everything ready and will need to pack and go to the supermarket to get my food supplies after work tonight! It's a lot of work to prepare but once I'm on the hike all I need to worry about is putting one foot in front of the other

Re: High functioning ASD

@Shaz51 I'm going with my brother and sister-in-law who are big hikers and have both done this hike before. I hope I don't slow them down as I've only done 2 shorter overnight hikes before, but hey, they invited me so they'll just have to put up with my pace! haha We're going up tomorrow and will stay in accommodation near the start of the hike and then we'll be hiking for 4 days!

my husband still has the flu, but he is a little more alert than the last few days

We have a GP appointment on Monday which is a good start

trying to find the right medications is the hardest -- he has been through a few

he has 2 questions at the moment

1) ASD and insomnia

2) ASD and stomach problems
