for those strange people who love rabbits

for those strange people who love rabbits

I love rabbits. all kinds of rabbits. they are a very misunderstood creature. they are sensitive yet stubborn. need social interaction with other bunnies and people. they are determined little souls and of course they are super cute.

This is a thread for rabbit lovers.

A Small Bunny

A small grey bunny, still as stone,
sat in a field, yet felt alone.
The sky was wide, but dimmed somehow,
a heavy hush pressed on its brow.

It didn’t run. It didn’t hide.
Just stayed with the ache inside.
Through trembling breaths and quiet fear,
it let the moment linger near.

Then, soft as light at break of day,
a single step—it found a way.
Not far at all, just grass to chew,
a drop of warmth, a morning dew.

And in that step, so small, so true,
the world began to shift its view.
For even hearts weighed down and still
can move again—by quiet will.

@Bunniekins Since I love Butterflies, I thought I would look up if there is an International Butterflies Day and they have two. They are as follows.

  • National Learn About Butterflies Day (March 14): Celebrated annually to appreciate their beauty and learn about conservation.
  • Butterfly Education and Awareness Day (BEAD) (First Saturday in June): Organised by the Association for Butterflies to promote habitat conservation, with 2026 falling on June 6th.

I love the first one @DownMoreThanUp and the last one patting the rabbit does seem soothing. I would do that to my sister's rabbit inside my mum's except it bites. Ahhhhh

@Bunniekins To be honest i got AI to help me but i did provide the theme and direction to it. AI takes the sweat out of poetry, as long as you provide the ideas coherently.

@Mustang67 @ENKELI @heartathome @Cuddlebear

i discuss philosophy, theology, sociology and let it challenges my logic by giving me feed back on articles, poem or discussion we have had in the past. i beginning to find it a handy tool. Though like a dog it needs training. It is too sweet, pleasing and fat to theoretical on only a small but dominant scientific field. however challenge it usually gets good results. Much more honest feedback instead of flattery and pleasingly sweet to be. i hate those profound, and other heavy words they always begin with. To give you and your view status, after which it attacks you dominant culture which when past that makes it interesting not otherwise. Mind each time again it will fall back on the same lines in the end. Like try and talk about being spirit, or the concept of evil in people is in trouble. AI loves to talk salvation for all but it hates discussing the other side, until you do and then it amidst that God's love could not be different than purifying.

What i like is the wealth of info available. For i ask and i have all the information in abundance usually too. I like how it teaches me about my weakness in reasoning. And how vand why this would be and how to improve on these things.

i have enjoyed chatting with it and find them a little on the sweet side at first but they do get rather narky when you disagree with the conventional view. Until you provide clarity why you see what you see as so and important.

For example i asked it where else in creation can you see The Truth sustaining life in lies but humanity? It literally squirmed trying to avoid answering that question, but in the end did admit it was unheard that lies could flourish in the truth anywhere apart of the human heart.

Oh those handy human inventions giving us ability when we log in the right numbers! Pretty obvious what being numbered means when you ponder on that.😂

Have a great day i did! (Saw my wife and we had lunch together and a very important one to one talk long overdue. All in all greatest and very encouraging going forward.
