Real World v Spiritual

Real World v Spiritual

Without going into too much I have been medicAted for about 13yrs for schizophrenia..

The other night I had a negative spiritual experience and I've been a bit freaked out since thinking the worst of my situation..

I now mainly at night think something may again come near me so am on my toes in that sense..

Its not a problem as such as I said it's just freaking me out a little..

I don't want to go into specifics as I don't want to trigger others.

I just like to forget about the experience and move onto a better place..

I previously went 6yrs unmedicated and went from mild to sever symptoms internal and external audio/visual hullcinations

My schizophrenia was drug induced from smoking cannabis for 13yrs and an LSD experience

Any assistance in overcoming these trains of thought would be great..

I don't think I need to increase dosage as I'm not hearing anything else it was a once off its just the lingering thoughts of potential that have me triggering at night.

Please.dont confuse god and the good with the evil of the devil.. i know how that sounds but it has to be said.. the good in this world comes from a different place to the bad sometimes the crucial relative contributions to life just don't make sense.. I hope you find your good and live with an open heart to live love and be loved!!

Very good point you make here, consuming worldly way will harm us badly. Yet i see this slightly different than you conclude about that.

The Truth taught me to understand that all good comes from God. However that when i feed from His good, or use His good, while believing lies about myself using it, or believe lies about the good i use, then God's good the lies will turn to bad. For when i feed of God's good believing lies, then instead of adding more good life consuming God's good, good will burn and bring me bad life instead. For such consuming of God's good is not good, for it grows a bad demander in us, and the voice of demand grows us lack of self control, which often grows addiction. Addiction happens when we love God's good not God for bringing us His good. Then we must have such good whatever the cost to us, God's truth, or others, for we for we believe the object of our burning desire brings us good, while only God brings us good, never the good He does it through.

To give you a real life example; For many years i was heavily addicted to smoking nicotine. Up to 90 smokes a day in the end. Causing my lungs enormous stress as well as our finances. Anyhow agonising myself smoking like that and trying in vain to stop smoking like that, deep down in my pit for years proved to impossible. Until one Day i saw The Truth of my predicament, for i had never even thanked Jesus dying for my sin smoking all these years, and still providing me with good feelings smoking, every day again, even though i did it all wrong, He even made sure i had enough funds to continue my addiction.

And you know what? After my focus was on Jesus giving me my smokes and thanking Him for grace, had me within three months, while praising and joyfully thanking Jesus every day gave up smoking willingly. i stopped smoking one smoke a day, until i ceased smoking altogether, and thankfully told Jesus and myself i never use tobacco again.

Unbelievably friends, i did not climb any walls, or raged at my loved ones hanging out for nicotine, or felt any bad cravings to smoke more, like i used to have stopping smoking in the past. For i did not struggle once to stop smoking, just one smoke a day. Rather it was harder at times not to do it faster, because of that UGLY VOICE of demand, demanding i stop smoking quicker, or the liar subtly try to give me the glory stopping, and not Jesus. However i understood that Joy and Thankfulness was much more pleasant to heed in my life than even more demand living within, for i was in no doubt who was making it so easy for me to quit smoking, and had come to my aid believing His loving grace and not my guilt or any other bad life i had collected believing lies about me smoking tobacco believing lies about myself and about nicotine.

i never looked back, or was sorely tempted to pick the habit up again. For each time i felt like a smoke, i would thank Jesus most thankfully i could say no now. The thankfulness making sure my desire for yes would be drowned out pleasantly, time and again, doing that, until yes i want to smoke tobacco died out of me altogether, about 1 1/2 -2 years after smoked my last smoke.

The amazing part to me has been that in THE END Jesus even brought nicotine back into my life, but for good, without any risk of addiction or bad life attached to it, but rather to help me in my fight with depression, lack of cognitive thinking, and exhaustion suffering insomnia. Although i use nicotine only sparingly, to keep its effects optimum, and i only ever use nicotine through nicotine patches, never otherwise.

Sorry for the long spiel
